Hello and welcome to our MacBook Prime Day deals live blog, where we'll be bringing you every top Apple laptop deal we can find! 

We're just a few short hours from the main event, where you can look forward to seeing a slew of MacBook deals, including discounts on the latest systems and everything you need to make the most of it, such as cases, power bricks, portable batteries, and docking stations.

So where are we at right now, in terms of top MacBook savings? It may all be starting tomorrow, but retailers are already getting stuck in and showing their savings early.

In the US, you can get $200 off the 14-inch MacBook Pro with M1 Pro, save $100 on the M1 MacBook Air at Best Buy and if you have access to educational programs, you can get $100 off the M2 MacBook Air.

As for the UK, the public can already get over £50 off the M2 MacBook Pro (everybody, not just students), and save £165 on the M1 Pro MacBook Pro.

To get the ball rolling, you can already nab the 16-inch MacBook Pro with M1 Pro for $2,499 at Amazon. That's a $200 price cut, and Prime Day 2022 hasn't officially kicked off yet. It comes with 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD, and comes in Space Gray.

However, if you're looking to save an extra $50, you can grab the same model in Silver instead for $2,449 at Amazon. Whatever style you choose, expect Apple's powerhouse to pack a punch. 

You're looking for the 14-inch MacBook Pro with M1 Pro, you say? Well, Amazon is also taking $200 off this elegantly designed model, meaning you can grab it for $2,299. That's for both the Silver and Space Gray models with 1TB!

Now, this is Prime Day, so it's all about saving some big bucks. If you're not looking for all that storage space, the 14-inch MacBook Pro with M1 Pro and a 512GB capacity is down to $1,799 on Amazon. That's another $200 saving compared to the usual $1,999 price tag.

Fingers crossed for even steeper discounts across Apple's MacBook lineup!

Just because it's Prime Day doesn't mean other retailers aren't busting out fantastic deals. Best Buy's MacBook Air with M1 for just $899 is a fitting case in point. Whether you want it in Silver, Gold, or Space Gray, swipe one of the best laptops around with a $100 saving. FYI, it comes with a 256GB SSD.

Will Amazon deliver a more jaw-dripping price cut? Sit tight.

While we're fans of the Midnight and Starlight colors on the 2022 MacBook Air with M2, sometimes it's better to go with a color that suits you. What goes really well with any MacBook? A brilliant pair of noise-cancelling headphones, of course. Good things Apple has just the pair, and the AirPods Max just got a nifty $100 discount on Amazon. That brings the price down to $449, and all five color variations got the price cut. I'm a big fan of the Space Gray, but that Sky Blue model is looking mighty stylish, too.

Now that Apple's M2 has arrived, many are looking to get their hands on the latest Apple MacBook Pro with M2 and MacBook Air with M2. We don't expect to see big discounts (unfortunately), but the good news is students and educators can save $100 on the new MacBook Air through the Apple Education Store. That takes it down to $1,099.

Better yet, for those opting for the latest MacBook Pro model, students and educators can also save a nifty $100. Not a bad deal to get in on. 

MacBook chargers can get very pricey, so it's a good idea to nab yourself a USB-C charge during Prime Day. That's a good indication it's set to stay at the price for a while, but you never know if it may get an even bigger discount over the next couple of days. Prime Day always has a few surprises up its sleeves.

By the way, the Apple Watch Series 7 just got a $115 price cut, bringing it down to $279 on Amazon. Might just be worth considering if you're out for a smartwatch. 

MacBooks lack in a certain department: ports. That's why it's a good idea to keep an eye out for discounted docking stations and USB-C hubs with plenty of connectivity options. The good news is Satechi has just the USB-C hub, and it's now $25 off at Amazon.
