Best Microsoft Store Black Friday deals 2022

Microsoft Store Black Friday deals are already live, with epic discounts on Surface laptops, tablets and Xbox gear galore. Case in point: right now, you can save up to $650 off the Surface Laptop 5, and up to $800 off the Surface Pro 9. If you're in the market for a new Microsoft device, these are just a couple of the best Black Friday laptop deals we've seen so far.

In our Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 review, we liked its capable speaker, tactile keyboard and slim, premium design. Microsoft's newer Surface Pro 9 doubles as a 2-in-1 laptop with an optional detachable keyboard; Microsoft currently offers the standalone Surface Pro Signature Keyboard for $144, down from $180. The Surface Pro 9 and Pro Keyboard Bundle is also on sale for $999, down from $1,539. (By comparison, Best Buy undercuts the price for this bundle by $55.) 

The Surface Pro 9 base configuration on sale packs a 13-inch (2880 x 1920) PixelSense touchscreen, 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1235U 10-core CPU, 16GB of RAM and Iris Xe Graphics. Meanwhile, a speedy 256GB SSD ensures fast file transfers and stores thousands of files.

We didn't get our hands on the Surface Pro 9 for testing, but we took its predecessor for a spin. In our Surface Pro 8 review, we appreciated its gorgeous display, strong performance and excellent webcam. We gave the Microsoft Surface Pro 8 a rating of 4 of 5 stars and our coveted Editor's Choice award. (We expect no less from the Surface Pro 9, given its upgraded 12th Gen Intel CPU.)
